Wisdom Speaks is an initiative that empowers youth and communities by broadening their knowledge on world cultures through all forms of expression, including language, art, history, and culture.
Wisdom Speaks Japanese is a 22.5-hour course designed to introduce learners to the Japanese language through structured and engaging lessons. Available at Starter A1/Elementary A2 levels, the program is delivered by experienced and qualified native Japanese teachers, helping participants build practical language skills while developing an appreciation of Japanese culture.
The course fee is AED 1,500. An additional fee of AED 250 will apply for participants who wish to purchase the required textbooks.
Starter A1
For very beginners. Learning Hiragana, Katakana, pronunciation, and structure of the sentence. Each class has a topic regarding Self introduction, Food, Restaurant, My house, My family, Lifestyle, etc. At the end of A1 course, you will be able to pronounce, listen, write & read, introduce yourself & family, and make easy conversation.
A1 Teacher: Satoko-sensei is a native qualified teacher who has more than 10 years of teaching in Japan for foreigners.
Elementary1-A2
is for learners who studied more than 60-80hours, with the knowledge of basic grammar, reading & writing of 50 Kanjis and daily conversation. The topics of A2 course are My family, Hobby, Seasons, Weather, At the park, Direction, Schedule, Small trip, Language, etc. At the end of A2, you will be able to make smooth conversation and understanding.
A2 Teacher: Yumi Sensei is a native qualified teacher who has more than 10 years of teaching Japanese in foreign countries.
